Method I am using:
Three dimensional solids.
Method most used:
Three dimensional wire frame.
Three dimensional wire frames:
Using line to make shapes, then coloring it in with two dimensional faces.
Three dimensional solids:  
Using six presets shaped to create new shapes and designs.
Why solids are better:
Solids give it more of a round shape, instead of using four million square
to make it seem round.
Why wire frames are better:
Wire frames are much easier to manipulate instead of solids
